''One With''
---When we are married to someone or something, we are ''One With'' that which we marry. It does not mean a big, elaborate ceremony necessarily, but does not ''exclude'' this either. We are ''Married to'' things we Love which means things which we are ''One With.'' Things we have a ''Union'' with.
---The most traditional form is two loving people who get together to start a
family,etc.. They are each others' spouse and through loving communication produce children or not. In this way they are ''One With'' each other. They may spend their whole life together. Here we are speaking of other kinds of bonds.
---We have heard of people being ''Married'' to their jobs. Married to a particular ''life-style,'' etc. When One ''Loves'' what One does, or is doing, then One finds oneself ''married'' to it. This is just NOT some sort of game of semantics, but a very real situation.
---It brings up the ''situation'' of Loving that with which One becomes involved. It is a very fundamental thing. When we Love what we do, then we do it Well. We care about It. We are in unity with that which we Love. We want it to ''shine'' in the ''best'' light possible.
---Doing what One Loves developes and strengthens the love in Ourselves. Remember, this is important, Love doesn't need strengthening, but our Relationship to It that improves. Love is timeless and eternal. Love is God. It is, was and always doing okay. It is our relationship to It that we work on.
---We ALL have people or situations that ''Call'' us to the best of ourselves. These we should explore. We should NOT take these lightly. We grow in these relationships. At times, also, One may find Oneself batting heads against a particular obstacle. A difficulty. A difficulty, yes, but somehow unDenialable. You intuitively know that ''doing battle'' in this arena will reap benefits. It says somewhere that these are our ''greatest'' teachers. Since we don't live in an Ideal setting [as Ideal as we see it to be], these may crop up quite often. Of course
they ''teach'' us that we may still have more to do in our ''Learning.'' Be Well.
